GA Retirement Pasture

Cookie is a relatively new addition to our herd. We chose to buy him before we relocated. Cookie is Moon Blind, but VERY well trained. Someone has not only trained him, but also LOVED him. He is completely ridable, brave, and takes care of himself in the pasture. He was the companion to Malrys Rowan before we relocated. We would consider placing Cookie to the right person. He would make a great companion animal, and a fantastic riding horse for a qualified, experienced rider. He can navigate very well by use of sound and uses caution when in new surroundings. He is totally obediant to his rider. His only drawback is that he tends to "jig" while you try to mount. This is a result of the people who we bought him from and will disappear if he is given a rider he can trust. We would prefer to lease Cookie due to his blindness, that way if it doesn't work out with his new family, he simply comes back into retirement.

G.B. has been with us a great many years. She has carried many children at theme-based birthday parties. G.B. has played the part of an Indian Pony, a Medieval mount, and many other things. Always patient, G.B. has been our "Anyone can ride" horse. She was trained to pull a cart in one hour on one afternoon. Very quick minded, very safe for children. G.B. is in retirement in GA right now due to her arthritis. However, we at Emerald Dreams would consider leasing our beloved G.B. out to the right home. She's great with children, especially on lead-line, and would make a fantastic companion animal. G.B. has no need to be the dominant horse in the field and will yield leadership without a fight. If you feel that G.B. would be a great mare for you to lead your kids or grandkids around on, or just a great companion for another lonely horse, don't hesitate to contact us. While we cannot sell G.B. in good concience, due to her years of service to us, we are perfectly willing to lease her to the right situation.
